View Larger MapGeorge Sooter opened Sooter’s Car Wash in 1965 on the corner of 1st and Spruce, Halstead Kansas. Car washes were just starting to become a convenince for drivers. Sooter's Car Wash is the only original family owned wash in a five county area. It is currently operated by Craig, Brenda, Ryan, Kyle and Kirsten Sooter as a locally owned Halstead business.
